ABOUT ME

Damaris Salazar is a performer and choreographer from Houston, Texas. She began dancing at the age of 11, with a strong foundation in contemporary jazz and ballet, she has honed her skills and won numerous awards for her talent and dedication. Throughout her career, she has trained with industry-leading teachers and continues to push herself to grow and improve as a dancer and choreographer. With roots in performative and competitive dance, she’s taught at various studios in the metropolitan area.  Damaris is in her fourth season as a member of the Houston Rockets Clutch City Dancers. She has traveled with them to Las Vegas and performed at the NBA Cup tournament. She recently traveled to Brazil, where she represented her team at the NBA House Brazil 2025, participating in numerous performances and appearances. Damaris is also a proud member of the G7 crew , a hip hop company based out of Garage 713 Studio. They have represented Houston in Dancechella, 2023 and 2024 a competition in Gold Coast, Australia.  She has participated in various creative videos and has directed and choreographed some of her own. She continues to train in various styles, which has led her to become a well rounded, student, choreographer and performer!
